I haven't posted in a while and with good reason - our first child was born a week early in July. As a result I have been more occupied with nappy changes and feeding rotas etc., than following the markets on a day-by-day basis.
However I had initiated some short positions at the end of June which did rather well, and I cashed in pretty well on those once they reversed.
Interestingly, being at the hospital (and the lack of a mobile signal) had a positive side-effect, in that I couldn't sabotage my own positions and had to let my trades play out. A fairly drastic way of overcoming a trading weakness, but I was able to fully immerse myself in the wonderful happenings that week.
