In a trending phase?

I would strongly suspect that, with the trends shown on the charts below, the more traditional trend followers in the hedge fund and CTA world will have done very well in January. I posted a few weeks back how these traders had struggle over the last couple of years due to increased volatility and a lack of tradeable trends. These clearly show that, providing you have good risk control and the patience required to wait for set ups to present themselves, then you are able to profit when trends like these appear.
