Recommended blog - embracethetrend.com

One of the few blogs I make a point of reading is written by fellow trader Richard Chignell at embracethetrend.com. He focuses on the psychological aspects of trading, which as we all know is a critical component of achieving long-term success.

One of his recent posts here focuses on having the reasons why people are seemingly unable to follow a trading plan, even if it is one they have created themselves. I totally agree with his thoughts on this, and the concept of compatibility, which is something I have talked about on here several times, as well as in my e-book and in conversations with other traders. This is especially true when it comes to trend following, which requires a mindset that goes against the grain of the majority of traders, who like to buy low and sell high. Richard is also clear about where the root cause of the failure to follow any system lies.

Very thought provoking for those relatively inexperienced traders, or those who have got a bit 'lost', I'd highly recommend following Richard's blog (link is here).
